A centimetre (cm) is a small unit of length. It's about the width of your little finger.

Centimetres on a Ruler 尺上的厘米
On a ruler, centimetres are marked with numbers. Each number shows how many centimetres from the start.
在尺子上,厘米用數字標記。每個數字顯示與起點相距多少厘米。
Each small line between the numbers represents 1 millimetre (mm). There are 10 millimetres in 1 centimetre.

How to Use a Ruler 如何使用尺子
- Line up the 0 mark with one end of the object you want to measure.

- Keep the ruler straight.

- Look at the number on the ruler where the other end of the object ends.

- That number tells you how many centimetres long the object is.
