• •Solve simple equations of the forms x + b = c, x − b = c, ax = b, x/a = b, ax + b = c, ax − b = c, (x/a) + b = c, (x/a) − b = c (where a, b, c are whole numbers, a ≠ 0).
• •Solve problems by using equations.
